This is my friend and great dancer Noemi Segarra performing with a real-time processing system. A webcam and a wireless mic capure her image and voice creating her digital environment for an improvisational solo. the system is designed in maxmspjitter. Very simple system allow the performer to actually improvise. Great performances, Noemi!

PerMagnus Lindborg performing "SkallDans" at New Ears Festival, Kortrijk, België/Belgique, September 2008. Live audio & video generated by MaxMSPJitter controlled by uc33e and wiimote (scotched to headset). The cranium is an MRI scan of my head imported as a 3D object. The audio synthesis uses live video input to affect FFT filtering, Tanaka's ModSquad Redux looper and a bank of sinusoids.

Interactive video design for the American choreographer Bebe Miller and DCDC Dayton Contemporary Dance Company premiered February 2005 ... all » Optic tracking is used to "paint" the background with video deconstruction at the pixel level in order to create a very impressionistic environment for the dance. Nothing is pre-recorded. Two cameras are used to bring the dancers image to one laptop.
