My rig (core2quad @3.3Ghz, Asus P5K Deluxe, 2Gb ram, 7900Gt) running 3D desktop on Ubuntu Gutsy with Amarok running with 10 visualisers open, Youtube video & Dvd playing. This is also captured with recordMyDesktop, not a handheld camera & doesn't knock a stir out of quad :P Reducing the file size loses some quality unfortunately.

Compiz Fusion powered OpenGL 3D desktop on Ubuntu 8.04.1 64bit GNU/Linux desktop. Response to some comments on "PC vs Mac vs Linux" video.
Notice that there is desktop recording software running (in full 1680x1050 screen resolution) an there are no major slowdowns.
